Prometheus Trains WMAS<\/h1>\n

Prometheus Medical International are currently providing a number of PHTLS<\/a> training courses to West Midlands Ambulance Service Trust (WMAS)\u00a0Clinical\u00a0Team\u00a0Mentors\u00a0as part of their Continuing Professional Development (CPD). The Trust serves a population of 5.6 million people, covering an area of more than 5,000 square miles across the West Midlands and Prometheus Medical International are proud to be supporting WMAS and their Clinical Team Mentors.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Clinical Team Mentors (Paramedics) are undertaking the NAEMT-certified PHTLS<\/a> course (Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support) which is recognized around the world as the leading continuing education program for pre-hospital emergency trauma care. The WMAS Clinical Mentors are benefiting from completing their 2-day PHTLS training at our 11-acre training centre in Herefordshire, which provides the ideal location for practical, immersive training. Our instructors are always clinically current, and use their knowledge and experience of blended classroom-based learning along with practical, realistic pre-hospital scenarios utilising hyper-realistic SIMBODIES mannequins and casualty simulation.<\/span><\/p>\n

  WMAS are the first Trust in the country to have a paramedic on every vehicle and respond to around 4,000 \u2018999\u2019 calls each day.
